Jerry D. Vergeront

After spending 25 of his 30 years of Information Technology (IT) experience in the Information Security and Privacy fields, Jerry made the decision to go into law.  While continuing his work in fields of IT security and privacy, Jerry attended the Seattle University School of Law.  Throughout law school and beyond his graduation, his motivation has remained steadfast:  To help improve the legal system as it relates to privacy and security in the areas of technology and the internet.

Jerry has used his vast IT security and privacy experience to counsel corporations in compliance mandates ranging from PCI to HIPAA to EU Privacy laws.  Now, as Vergeront Law's founder and principle attorney, he uses his first-hand knowledge to provide legal counsel to both corporations and individuals in Data Security, Data Privacy, Compliance, and Risk.
